  1. "Branded as dangerous beggar" Just heard of someone in Halifax, police released him from custody on the condition that he's is "not to be in or around any intersection in the city except soley for the purpose of crossing a street in a lawful manner."

    Incidentally the current population is approximately the same as the population of London in 1666.
